First Day of School---2014

It is my 15th year of teaching and yet every year I still get jittery as my new students roll into the classroom at 7:30!  The smiles from my new students helped to calm the nerves and what a wonderful day we had!  Below are some of the snapshots of our new class!

2013-2014 School Year

Synthesizing Superheros!!!

The kids learned about synthesizing this week.  They dressed up as superheros today.  We read the story The Wednesday Surprise and we stopped a few times in the story to talk about how their thinking was changing and growing!

We are starting our study of soils and to help us out we had some visitors come to our class today.  Our little worm friends will be with us for the next few weeks enjoying their compost bags!
