Turkey Word Trot

Our November incentive was a word trot!  The kids had to make as many words as they could out of the work Thanksgiving.  These kids were crazy busy figuring out words!  Wiedeman boys came in 2nd place and Wiedeman girls came in 1st!

Our Piggly Wiggly Movie has won the grand prize of 10 ipads!  So amazing!

Junior Achievement

We are so lucky to have Mr. Bushmaker (AKA Josh) to visit our classroom every Monday for the next few weeks.  Josh will be teaching us all about communities!

Elections--Meet Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson

The kids were able to participate in an election last Friday.  Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson were the candidates and gave wonderful speeches.  Jordy Nelson pulled off a win.  Jordy Nelson (AKA Mr. Zurko) made sure that he lived up to his promises.  Yesterday the kids all had an extra recess and certificates for free pizza were handed out.  To top it off, they received a Spirit Stick that says my Principal is Proud of Me!

It was a sad day in Mrs. Wiedeman's Classroom.  We said goodbye to some of our long lost friends.  We love these words but now we have BETTER words that we can use instead. Farewell Big, Happy, and Bad!

We started our Halloween day off with a rendition of Big Pumpkin!  The kids love this story!

Mrs. Townsend (Grace's Mom), stopped by to make witch hats and owls.  These were some yummy delicious treats!

Our day continued on with a Halloween party in the afternoon!  The kids were looking quite spooktacular in their costumes!
