In science, some people practiced their speeches. We learned about the ketchup and mustard. In writing for fun, we did a Mad Libs Jr. We can't wait to share our silly stories with you. We had a happy birthday lunch and ate hotdogs. Reminder...tomorrow is the Wiedeman Winter Olympics. Please wear comfy clothes. We will be playing hockey, skating, and skiing in a whole new way! In science we are reseaching planets. We went on a website called Nasa Kids Club. We had salisbury steak for lunch. We watched a Magic School Bus movie about rainbows. Hello,

Sorry I had to leave early today. Brayden wasn't feeling well. He is taking a good nap for me right now. I hope the rest of your day at school was good. We went on a cool website called
http://www.artyastro.com/main.htm. We played a game and learned about the planets. We made a constellation in science class. Mrs. Wiedeman has an interview for the Golden Apple Awards. The class gets to help make the video that she will take to the interview. We also talked about the Winter Olympics in VanCouver and we took pictures of us pretending to do our favorite winter Olympic sport. Parents: What is your favorite winter Olympic sport? In science, we saw the far side of the moon. The moon lights up because the rays from the sun reflect off of the moon. We did a mini spelling test. If we spell the words wrong, we will have to do them again. We cracked words and did very well on the hot chili pepper college words. We listened to Diary of a Worm on Tumblebooks and then wrote our own diaries about animals. Have a fabulous night...The Class

We learned about gravity. We had to throw the moon...ask me about it tonight and I will show you! Our book orders came in today. We need to practice our rocket math tonight so that we can pass. We got special treats from Austin and Lakin. Austin brought cookies that were for his birthday. They were sugar cookies with white frosting and sprinkles. They were GIGANTIC! Lakin brought Grips for her Top Banana treat. We did our sun test today. Since we did so well, we were able to have our marble party. We learned a new song called Watch Me, Listen! It was a hand jive. William read his story called the Evil Pencil. Have a splendid weekend...The Class

We all learned how to post a comment on the blog. We now have the address to take home as well. In science, we will be taking a test on the sun. We watched a video that taught us about the sun. We are having a pajama party on Friday because we earned a banana party. We were all being very quiet when Mrs. Wiedeman walked in the door. We made characters in art class. We have our first person in multiplication....Way to go William! In science we did an experiment that showed us how the Earth tilts and this causes the seasons. Mrs. McAllister finally figured out how to do the experiment. It only took her 5 years! Have a FUN night...The Class

Ari passed level Z in rocket math! It was Gracie's birthday and she brought cupcakes. We made a project in science class that showed us how the earth revolves around the sun which gives us a year.
