We had our last day of rocket math for this week. Gracie passed level Z. We had our incentive today. We played 7-up, relay races, and we made a heart guy or gal. We had outside recess and it really wasn't too cold. Our spelling lists are in our Tree-mendous spelling word pouch. Have a good weekend...The Class

William is our top banana. He showed us a video and we learned about geocaching. Very cool! Some people passed rocket math which was exciting. Cole and Cade are back today. We are happy to have them at school. Some of the kids are reading Mr. Popper's Penguins and are very excited about this long chapter book. It has 20 chapters. We had snack at our tables today which was fun. We are also going to finish Flat Stanley.

Tomorrow is a half day of school. We had music and gym for specials. We had a music free day. We played music games. Our monkey went up the tree. It went up 5 spots! We are going to have a banana party tomorrow. We get to eat with Mrs. Wiedeman in the classroom. We also earned a marble party. We are not sure what Mrs. Wiedeman and Mrs. McAllister have planned. Finally, we got brand new sorts. We took our test today so that we would have more free time tomorrow. Have a supreme night....The Class

We did rocket math. We had lots of people pass. It was our last day of Little D. We did 3 challenges today with Little D. We went to Art class and watched 2 videos on Eric Carle. We also got new spots in art. We got to pick our own spots. We did a speed sort with our word cards. We are pretty fast. We are using some fun spelling tools to practice our words. We also learned how to use a rubric for writing time. Have a splendid rest of the day!

We have been very busy. First, we want to wish William and Ari well. We hope you make it back to school tomorrow. We learned about the Others today. Ask me about it!

We have school for only half a day on Friday. We just learned that on April 29th we will be going to the Milwaukee Museum. Not too many people passed rocket math today. We need to practice tonight. We got new table names. They are: Water Monkeys, Crunchy Banana Chips, Badgers, T-Rex Hunters, and the Funky Monkeys. We did multiplication today. It's adding the same number over and over and over. We had a new STEP worker and her name was Mrs. Skovera. She is Austin's sitter before and after school. She is super nice. Have a splendid evening.

We learned about the vegetable group today. We turned off all the lights and tried to read words that were on the walls. We could all see the words. Vegetables help us see in the dark. Did you know that? We took a math test for report cards. Rocket math was first thing this morning and many of us passed. Dylan finished a research guide during Read to Self. The monkey moved up the tree and we are four hops away from a banana party! Tomorrow we are trying to earn a ton of marbles for our marble party. ONLY Mrs. Wiedeman and Mrs. McAllister know how many we can earn!!!!

In science we learned about Little D and the milk group. These are items in the milk group: swiss cheese, yogurt, milk, and pudding. We learned a new game called Cracking Words. We got hot chili pepper college words like cutaway and underway. We are sooooo smart. We learned how to do subraction with borrowing...Mr. Ten, Mr. Ten can I borrow one? Please have me try a problem at home. 35-19. Have a nice night....The Class

We had free time during our guidance time because Mrs. Bogacz took groups today. We got new books to read at home tonight. One group is reading about football stars and ice stars. We also met Little D. Ask me who he is and I will tell you. Have a good night! The Class!

Funky Friday 1/8

We did rocket math this morning and Kaidan passed level Z...we are soooo proud of him. We went shopping for new books and William found a new research guide on dolphins and sharks. We made our new spelling lists so be on the look out for them tonight. We will write more later.....

We had 10 minutes of free time because we were excellent students. We had gym and music. We played basketball and sang She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain with instruments. We went to social studies in Mrs. McAllister's room and we learned about Asia and Australia. We will write more tomorrow.
